MUCKY DUCK

Mucky Duck has been performing its unique brand of Australian folk songs and dances to delighted audiences since 1974. “The Duck” has become an institution.
Step back in time as the Mucky Duck Bush Band pays homage to our Colonial heritage at the historic Faversham House in York … and dance the night away under a blanket of stars.
Gates open at 6:00 pm so you can settle in and be ready to take to the lawn when the music starts. The blanket of stars won’t keep you warm, so bring a jacket.
For comfort, you are welcome to bring blankets and low chairs. Heritage sausage sizzle and refreshments will be available for purchase.
EARTHEN LAUNCH

After returning from New York City, Melbourne bassist-composer Sam Anning released two award winning albums attracting critical acclaim and an Aria nomination.
Earthen is Sam’s third septet album and is dedicated to the indomitable spirit of Indigenous Australian music icon, ‘Uncle Archie Roach’. Sam had the profound honour of being Uncle Archie’s bassist for three years before Archie’s passing in 2022.
The line-up features an ensemble of long-time Naarm/Melbourne based collaborators, Andrea Keller, Kyrie Anderson, Mat Jodrell, Carl Mackey, Julien Wilson, and Theo Carbo,
The album draws on the deep well of Roach’s wisdom, connection to the moment, resilience of spirit, and the healing power of music.

The Seekers formed in 1962 in Melbourne, where they wowed their audiences with beautiful four-part harmonies and a unique blend of folk and pop.
They had found a magical ingredient that would bring them amazing success in Australia, the UK, and America, selling 50 million records worldwide.
In 1967, Judith Durham decided to pursue a solo career, and The Seekers disbanded. However, they left behind a musical legacy that would impact generations.
Drift back in time to the heady days of the ’60s as Avenue presents old favourites such as Georgy Girl, I’ll Never Find Another You, and Red Rubber Ball interwoven with the story of four ordinary Australians who became international icons.
